Emmy and Megan have been wanting to get their ears pierced for quite a while now. We took Megan when she was 3, but her lobes were too tiny (she has the cutest little ears). So we've been waiting. Now the girls are almost 4 & 6 so we decided this would be a good time to go and a fun new thing to start school with. As the time drew closer to getting their ears pierced, Megan got a little nervous (but not Emmy). Megan asked Emmy if she would go first- Emmy was very eager to. When we got to Claire's a little girl was getting her ears pierced so we watched and waited. (poor little girl was so terrified-this didn't help Megan any). As soon as the little girl was done, Emmy jumped right up in the chair "I'm ready!!!" Emmy picked out her favorite color GREEN. (August's birthstone). She didn't even flinch- and let Megan know that it didn't really hurt. Well Megan wasn't convinced- so we had to leave and saved her paper in case she was to change her mind. Well an hour later Megan decided she wanted her ears pierced- so we waited a couple of hours and made the 20 minute drive back to Claire's. Sure enough she was ready and climbed right up in the chair (held mom's hand) and got her ears pierced. She was surprized that it didn't hurt. She chose cute pink flowers. The girls are so proud of their earrings. They have loved showing their friends their pretty new ears.

Too cute...I want to do Isabella's but haven't really talked to her about it.
This is totally random but does the girl in the background of your picture have a passy in her mouth?
